Perhaps she was crazy,
but,
she felt safe.
Perhaps their story would continue but,
she was living the now.
Maybe, he was “the one”
but,
she wasn’t concerned.
He made her laugh.
Maybe,
their friendship
would erase her past.
Perhaps, he’d be the bounce
to her step.
But,
she wasn’t dependent.
Perhaps, he would be
all that she’s missing.
But,
he’d have to wait for her.
His smile made the world fade.
Maybe,
she would fall in love
…perhaps.
